Edil -Fitr : Osun NUJ Congratulates Muslim Faithful

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Osun State Council has congratulated Muslim faithfuls in the state of Osun, especially journalists for the sucessful completion of Ramadan and celebration of Edil-Fitr.

Osun NUJ in a statement jointly signed  by the Council Chairman, Comrade Kehinde Ayantunji and the Secretary, Comrade Bukola Elufadejin, urged members to continue to reflect the spirit of perseverance and holiness that Ramadan represent.

The statement equally enjoins members to continually  pray for the timely eradication of Corona Virus pandemic in the land.

The union cautioned  journalists and members of the public to be guided by all precautions laid down by the government and health professionals to avoid further spread of the dreaded virus during the festival celebration.

They however encouraged members to be steadfast and continue to put in their best despite various challenges in the discharge of their duties by ensuring  that the right of people are protected especially in this period of pandemic.
