Osun Tourism Board warn hoteliers, hospitality establishment owners against non- registration

Osun State Tourism Board has sounded a note of warning to all hospitality management owners, who are yet to register with the Board, to do so as a matter of urgency.
The Chairman, Osun Tourism Board, Mr Taiwo Kayode Adeleke gave the alert in a meeting held in his office with hospitality management establishment owners in Osun State.
At the meeting which was in company of the General Manager and all other management Staff of the Agency, the Chairman pinpointed that there are many hotels that are yet to get registered.
Corroborating the Chairman, Mrs Oluwatoyin Ajayi, General Manager of the Agency warned those who are yet to be properly certificated to do so right away in order to avoid severe sanctions.
She disclosed that all hospitality establishments in the State will soon be put on the Tourism Board website with a view to publicizing them for patronage, and to also generate revenue into government coffers.
Mrs Ajayi further said it will be effective from January 2024, warning that no hotel management should pay to an individual but rather into government account.
In his own words, the Special Adviser to Osun State Governor on Tourism, Mr Tope Anjorin enjoined the hospitality establishment owners to comply with the Tourism Board instructions in order to maintain the prevailing harmonious working with government.
In his response, the President, Hotelier Association in Osun State, Barrister Elusanmi Abiodun, appreciated the management of the Agency and promised, on behalf of his team, to cooperate with government to advance hospitality industry.
