IBEDC CELEBRATES NIGERIA'S 64th INDEPENDENCE, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) has congratulated Nigerians on the country's 64th Independence Anniversary.
In a statement, the Acting Managing Director, Engr. Francis Agoha, emphasized IBEDC's dedication to the nation's growth and development.

As Nigeria celebrates its independence, IBEDC reminded citizens of the importance of integrity, hard work, and patriotism.

The company also highlighted its commitment to powering Nigeria's progress by delivering services that enhance lives and support economic growth.

IBEDC called on customers to shun acts of energy theft, including meter tampering and illegal connections.

Engr. Agoha warned that energy theft is a crime punishable by law and can result in jail time.

He also stressed that tampering with electrical installations poses significant safety risks.

IBEDC assured customers that its technical teams are ready to address any faults or issues during the holiday.

The company encouraged customers to utilize convenient payment channels to ensure uninterrupted service.

IBEDC offices will be open during the public holiday from 9 AM - 3 PM for payment and vending services.
