Osun State Government Assures Continuous Support for HIV/AIDS Patients Amidst PEPFAR Withdrawal

The Osun State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to providing uninterrupted care and treatment to individuals living with HIV/AIDS in the state, despite the recent withdrawal of support by the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
In a statement, Olusegun Daramola, Executive Secretary of the Osun State Agency for the Control of AIDS (O'SACA), assured that the government, under the leadership of Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, is working tirelessly to bridge any gaps left by PEPFAR's withdrawal.

The state government has pledged to continue providing essential services, including:

- Antiretroviral Therapy: Access to ART and essential medications
- Regular Medical Check-ups: Monitoring and medical care
- Counselling and Support: Psychosocial support and counseling services
- Nutrition and Economic Assistance: Support for nutrition and economic well-being

Individuals living with HIV/AIDS in Osun are urged to remain calm and committed to their treatment, adhering to prescribed regimens and attending scheduled clinic visits.
