Babayemi Mourns Asaliwa's Exit
Omooba Dotun Babayemi, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain in Osun State has commiserated with the people of Iwo and members of PDP in the state on the demise of Honourable Ajadi Salawu, popularly called Asaliwa.

In a statement issued by his Media Office, Babayemi described the deceased as someone who lived for his people and the state.

According to him, Baba Asaliwa's services to his community in Iwo and its environs would never be forgotten, lamenting that his death came when he was still needed as a thoroughbred politician.

He added that the deceased contributed robustly to PDP and Osun State in general and shall surely be  missed by the family, friends and political associates.

 While noting that the ideals and commitment of the departed PDP leader would always be remembered, Babayemi urged his children and other members of the family to take solace in the good deeds he left behind.

He also prayed God to grant him aljannah firdaus.
