OSUN NIPR SET TO HOLD MAIDEN EDITION OF ITS PR CLINIC

In fulfilling its mandate of training, monitoring and enforcing the professional practice of public relations, as well as bringing all affiliated persons and organizations under a common banner, to represent the industry on PR issues in enhancing the image of brands, individuals and organizations in the Country, the Osun State chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, will on Thursday, 24th November, 2022, hold the maiden edition of its PR clinic, which will be facilitated by reputable faculties drawn from relevant sectors of the economy, for continuous capacity development of its members.

The high-end training session with the theme, “Public Relations and Sustainable Development: Challenges and Opportunities”, will feature the Director of the Global Affairs and Sustainable Development Institute at Osun State University, Professor John Agbonifo as Speaker.

The function is slated to hold at the Eti-Osa Lecture Theatre of the Fountain University in Osogbo, between 4:30 and 5:30pm on the aforementioned date.

The event, which is free of charge for Members is aimed at increasing the knowledge-base of Osun NIPR members, to increase their productivity, the quality of their practice in line with global best practices, as well as to offer a unique platform for members to network.

Speaking on the birth of the PR Clinic, Ademola Adesoji, Chairman, Osun NIPR, said, “The PR Clinic became necessary due to the increase in the crisis and information management issues in the country that our members are expected to manage professionally.

“The monthly Clinic will offer a unique opportunity to sharpen the skills of Members and capacitate them to excel in their various organizations,” Adesoji Added.
