Alumni Association is Beneficial, Good For Development - Osogbo OSCOTECH Alumni

Alumni Association have been described as beneficial for good development, with its role targeted at subtly alleviating emerging challenges of members in Nigeria and diaspora.

This was made known at the OSCOTECH Alumni Osogbo Chapter End of Year 2022 Get-together lecture by the immediate past President, ESV Adenle Olaniyan who was also the pioneer chairman of the chapter.

Adenle reiterated that aside the onus of giving back to the Alma Mater of any Alumni Association, the medium creates opportunities for its members through networking, use of alumni directory, improved career opportunities, travel benefits: family excursions, sponsored or social events, financial supports, bonding with the Alma Mater, business network, growth of friendship and relationship, re-union and social gathering among others.

The immediate past President urged members of the OSCOTECH Alumni Association to leverage on available opportunity for enhancement of communication, commitment and developed alumni and alma mater, he also called on more members to join and benefit from the association in his strides to give back, support the Alumni college and leverage on opportunities for the members.

In his goodwill message, the Special Guest of Honor, Alhaji Mojeed Olalekan , MD OSCOTECH Microfinance Bank Esa-Oke expressed delight at the Osogbo chapter for holding forth and bridging the gas of co-existence support and development of the Alumni Association.

He opined that networking is important and called on members of the OSCOTECH Alumni Association to network each other and continue to uplift the Alma Mater with successful and Impactful programs.

Earlier in his address, the Osogbo chapter Chairman, Mr Ademola Ojo appealed to members to be involved in the alumni affairs, adding that this will consolidate the chapters position as well as optimise positive multipliers effect of our diverse professionallism opportunities through networking.

Speaking of welfare, Ademola Ojo hammered on unity, support for each other for sustainable lifestyle and checking up consistently on each other, he reminisced on landmark of the OSCOTECH campus and community which bonded all together. 

In attendance was the MD OSPOLY Microfinance Bank Esa-Oke, Mr Daud Adebisi Balogun, Ibadan Chapter Chairman Comrade Funso Adeyemi, Executives and members of the Alumni Association with their families among others.
