We Stand On Your Mandate, BAT

Senate Spokesperson, Dr Ajibola Basiru, has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on his victory as the President-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

In a congratulatory message, Dr Basiru described Asiwaju's huge success at the poll as well-deserved and long-destined.

"You have sacrificed so much for others to attain heights in life. And many of those you built and those you touched directly or otherwise have come together to give back to you."

"Your doggedness, open-mindedness, magnetic aura and large heart have eventually paid off. A large chunk of Yoruba threw their weight behind you and saw you scaling rungs of Presidency despite the antics of a few who have sold their own for a pittance."

Senator Ajibola remarked that God has used Bola Tinubu's victory to return all the lost glory of Yoruba which few individuals attempted to give away on an altar of self-centeredness.

Basiru prayed to God to give Asiwaju Bola Tinubu all the enablement to give Nigerians a new Nigeria. 

He thanked members of APC in Osun State for staying solid with the party, assuring that soon, the party will be back in the fold of the Progressives.
