Osun NIESV Partners OAU On Estate Surveyors and Valuers Department

Osun Branch of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers have partnered the department of Estate Management, Obafemi Awolowo University OAU Ile-Ife on guiding the students, as the future generation of the Institution.
This was disclosed by the Branch Chairman, ESV Adekunle Adedoye at the courtesy call to the OAU Vice Chancellor Professor Bamire Adebayo Simeon, who was represented by Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics, Prof. Olubola Babalola, the first female professor in Quantity Surveying in Africa, at Floor O, Committee Room 5, University Secretariat, OAU main campus.

ESV Adekunle Adedoye M.Tech, ANIVS, RSV stated that the professional well being of the students is important, hence empowering them with needed knowledge and skills for the future, he added that the Institution deem it fit to give back to the society, hence partnering with the foremost university.

He declared readiness of the Estate Institution to render its services to the Institution, and he urged the management to release the students for Management Continuing Professional Development workshop of the Institution, which he said comes up periodically.

In her remarks, the Obafemi Awolowo University Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics, Prof. Olubola Babalola applauded the Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, Osun State Branch led by ESV Adekunle Adedoye for counting the citadel of learning students worthy of recognition, adding that the university will support the activities of the beneficiary department.

She maintained that education is important for the future, stressed that the professional knowledge which the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers NIESV is giving to the students is an added skill.

She also commended the laudable antecedents of the Institution and its leaders in Osun state, asserted that Osun NIESV is a force to reckon with and the university is proud to be associated with it. 

The Osun NIESV Excos also held discussion with students of the estate management department and books were distributed to the department library for use by the students. The books were received by the Head of Department, ESV Prof M.O.Oyewole and Dean of Environmental Design and management ESV Prof Olusegun Ogunba, in the presence of ESV Prof Abel Olaleye, ESV Seyi Adegoke, ESV T.T. Oladokun and host of others.
Professional Estate Surveyors and Valuers at the courtesy call to Obafemi Awolowo University and the estate management department include: ESV Sola Adebiyi vice Chairman, ESV Grace Adedayo Hon Secretary, ESV Kola Olaluwe Hon Treasurer, ESV Sadiat Salami Hon Financial Secretary, ESV Adeagbo O.B.F Assistant Hon Secretary and ESV Damilare Olabiyi Ex-Officiol.
