Lead Support Initiative Program For Societal Development

The National Cordinator And Director General of Lead Support Development and youths Empowerment initiative in Nigeria and diosporal  Otunba Bamidele Adetoro as affirmed the objectives of the Association

THIRDEYE gathered the information that the lead support is a non-governmental Organization (NGo) with the responsibility of Empowerment program in diverse area of Country with the youths,Old Aged, widows, market women , internally Display people ( IDP) in the Society

   

The medium gathered that the Organ has been established about ten to  eleven years ago and has able to contribute to the societal growth before it been incorporated by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and the registration took place on the 10th May, 2022 with the Certificate number of 180022

He added that,the body as been able to work in various areas by empowering the aged during the covid 19 pandemic  although the deadly disease  didn't  started in 2019 but begins in February 2021 and we commenced in speaking to people on the issue particularly those who are staying inside and  they are able to get full partner at the end and for each  of the alternate months we give out food items and some necessary medications with the pictorial evidence of the activities done in the year  2021 till 2023 respectfully

While Speaking, He assured that the body are not yet able to achieve  more in this year due to some Circumstances . Although, we are in over 26 States across the Country but the functional ones in about Eleven to twelve states such as Adamawa, Niger, Kogi state and others 

The Director added  that the body planned of carrying out a project in Kogi state last year but as a result of the flood it was not actualized but eventually least out  and in the attempt of  the white people to credit their account to easy the achievement of the program but rather unfortunately there was local crises due to the lack of domesticliary account which the opportunity of Fourty Eight hours was giving to do the needful and in the process of ensuring the Success by reaching out to the Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) the time allocated was expired 

He also noted that , as a means of societal  development the parents are admonished of encouraging their Children skill acquisition atleast two years of training before getting admission into the higher tertiary institutions  which will also improve job opportunity in the society  at large 

 The Osun state Chapter Cordinator Comrade Balogun Oladimeji  Muniru , also speaking at the event explained that the flag off of the program is taking place as a result of the incoming Executives of the Association

comr. Balogun affirmed that the body don't depends on the Government to be responsible in rendering assistance for the deserved members in the Society such as the youths , old aged, widows,Disables with the aim of empowering them and not to become begers in the Society at large 

According to him, the body as contributed to the to the societal growth in some states in the Country but it is yet to be active in Osun state as a result of it new beginning while assuring the public the discharge of their duty diligently in the state as part of the objectives of the organ 

The Cordinator, reaffirmed that the body is a non - political but always become imperative in visiting the Government of the day in the actualization  of the goals
