Ajagunla Organises Capacity Building Workshop for School Principals, Headteachers in Osun Central

The ANCOPSS House Secretariat in Osogbo was abuzz with activity as a two-day Workshop on Human Capacity Building for Principals of Secondary Schools and Headmasters/Headmistresses of Primary Schools in the ten local government areas of Osun Central Senatorial District, came to a conclusion.
The event, sponsored by the Distinguished Senator representing Osun Central Senatorial District, Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi, Senior Executive Fellow in Harvard, saw an assembly of educators dedicated to enhancing the quality of education in the nation.

Speaking at the event, the Osun state Commissioner for Education, Hon. Dipo Eluwole, emphasised the significance of continuous professional development in the education sector to the participants.

The workshop also featured esteemed resource persons such as: Dr. Tajudeen Balogun and Prof. Abiodun Ogunwale who shared their expertise and experience with the over 100 school heads from secondary and primary schools.

The quintessential parliamentarian, Distinguished Senator Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi, who is a stalwart advocate for educational advancement, not only sponsored but also organized the workshop with a commitment to enhancing the skills and knowledge of school leaders.

In a gesture of appreciation, transport honorarium was provided to all participants, demonstrating his unwavering support for the growth of education in Osun Central.

Highlight of the workshop, was the presentation of certificate of participation given to the selected 100  secondary school principals and headteachers from primary schools, as a testament to their active engagement and commitment to advancing their professional development.

The event concluded on a good note, with the participants leaving with renewed enthusiasm and enriched strategies to further elevate the quality of education in their various schools in the Senatorial District.

Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi Ajagunla through his representative at the capacity building workshop emphasized  his recognition of the importance of capacity building and empowerment of educators through workshops like these and its impact which is poised to resonate positively in the development of future generations of leaders and learners in the senatorial district.
