Pastor Adeboye Warns Ministers: No Anointing Can Resist Sexual Temptation

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, recently shared a powerful message at the Ministers & Workers Conference of RCCG Americas 1.
Despite his advanced age of 82 and his many years in the ministry, Adeboye acknowledged that he still takes deliberate steps to avoid situations that could lead to sexual immorality.

"I run faster than before to avoid sexual temptation," he said, emphasizing that no amount of spiritual anointing or authority can guarantee immunity from temptation.

Adeboye cautioned his listeners, particularly the young ministers, to be wary of the devil's tactics and to prioritize their relationship with God.

He used the example of Samson, a biblical judge who was anointed by God but fell into sexual immorality, to illustrate the importance of humility and self-awareness in the face of temptation.

Adeboye encouraged the youths to be mindful of lust and to flee from anything that appears sinful.

"Don't be deceived by the devil's tricks," he warned.

"When you see a woman smiling at you in a funny way, run!"

"Don't try to fight the battle alone, because you can't win it."

Adeboye's message emphasized the importance of moral integrity and accountability in the ministry.

He reminded the ministers that spiritual growth and maturity are lifelong pursuits.

Adeboye's words of wisdom serve as a timely reminder for all ministers and believers to remain vigilant in their walk with God.

By fleeing from sexual temptation and prioritizing their relationship with God, believers can avoid the pitfalls of sin and remain faithful to their calling.
