Your Established Records Are There To See, APC Ajegunle Eulogies SRJ

Members of the All Progressives Congress, Ajegunle Chapter, Osogbo have expressed confidence in the ability of Senator Ajibola Basiru to return to the Senate to represent Osun Central. 

At a meeting of the members, the leadership of the Ajegunle Chapter of the APC comprising chairman, Alhaji Abdul Wahab, Chairman of Ajegunle Spare Part Dealers, Alhaji Kamorudeen Adesina, Leader of the Chapter, Alhaji Suleiman Aderemi, Alhaji Rasheed Adebisi and  others unanimously said Senator Basiru had established a record and achieved a feat no Senator before him in Osun Central achieved. 

In his remarks, Alhaji Rasheed Adebisi Eulogies Senator Ajibola Basiru (SRJ) for his good  deeds both for the people of Osun Central and individual assistant. 

Alhaji Aderemi reminded members that APC Government tarred roads within Ajegunle while SRJ lit up the market with solar lights. 

Chairman of Ajegunle Spare Part Dealers, Alhaji Kamorudeen Adesina assured that members of Ajegunle APC would intensify the campaign at ensuring that SRJ returns to the Senate despite campaigns of calumny by some people who are blind to the unfortunate fact that Osogbo, since 1991, has not produced a Governor or a Minister, asking rhetorically why anyone would want to take Senatorial ticket from Osogbo for a pot of porridge.

Alhaji AbdulWahab in his remarks said SRJ had proven his mettle in the Senate as the Spokesman of the Upper Chamber.

In his response, Senator Ajibola Basiru thanked the leadership and members of Ajegunle APC for showing commitment towards the success of the party in next year's elections. He appreciated them for constituting an independent campaign for his re-election. 

Making references to his Scorecard and Town Hall Meetings where his achievements have been showcased, Senator Basiru stressed that his 3 years in the Senate have not been a waste as he remains the only Senator since 1999 to have touched all the Local Governments making up Osun Central. 

SRJ also used the opportunity to call for support for APC presidential standard bearer who has the magic wand to turn things around as he had used Lagos State as a template.
