G 21 (OSUN NETWORK) INAUGURATES APC GRASSROOTS STRUCTURE VOLUNTEER MEMBERS AT ILA ORANGUN LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY

As it has become statuesque for the glorious G 21 members to resurrect the dwindling grassroots structure of the embattled APC party in Osun, their continuous political activity was taken to the old country home of Chief Bisi Akande. The former APC National Chairman, at Ila. The large carnival-like meeting was held after the volunteer members have arrived at the venue of the meeting with many who had long persistently to be admitted into the fold. 

After the introduction and a keynote address by the secretary, Hon.  Lawal Adebowale; It took the oratorical prowess of the president of the group, Hon.  Yussuf Tajudeen (Pablo) to furnish the newly accepted grassroots members to the fold the veritable information concerning the genesis of the nosedived fortune of the APC in the last election where APC lost all the elections to the opposition in Osun. "He admonished the members to always keep abreast of the information that will pull out APC from the doldrums, the opposition has pushed it". He posited. He said the war of attrition has been fought and won by the faction who vehemently ventilated their views concerning the apartheid the faction suffered when they were sidelined by Ogbeni's successor, who they have assisted in getting to power, the concomitant consequences resulted in sympathy votes that catapulted the opposition into power.  

He said it has never been the expectation of the APC to lose widely to the opposition but he said the loss could only be attributed to the act of God for the progressive to tighten their belt and rise to the occasion once again." It was the debacle and a story of a house divided against itself which can never stand" He said, "They must always refrain from hearsay but hold on to information that can never be inimical to the progress of the leaders of the APC". "Their penchant for carrying information must be on the same page as those of their colleagues, so as not to be a carrier of counterproductive messages". 

He debunked the insinuation in some ill-informed quarters 

that the APC faction never worked for the success of his boss's successor. He said his boss used all means available within his capacity to mobilize human and capital resources to support his successor before his ascension to power. 

After the messages of the President of the group that held the congregants spellbound, the inauguration was done amid the singing of the mandate song and various political songs that enliven the ambiance. At this point the Ila people were clamouring for Ogbeni to come back and lead the party in Osun, begging him not to leave the party. 

Not so long after this activity, the light sumptuous small chops and drinks were served to the admiration of the group and one of the members who later moved the motion for the adjournment of the meeting to after Ramadan. It was a memorable occasion for the members and the inaugural members.

Almost all the exco members and some G 21 members were in attendance except for those who gave notice of one assignment or the other. G 21, with its constant inaugurations of volunteer members at the grassroots level, has vowed to resuscitate the dwindling structure of the progressive party.
