Economic Hardship: Osun Governor’s Wife Distributes Food Items To Less Privileged, Orphanages

The Wife of the Osun State Governor, Chief (Mrs) Titilola Adeleke, has doled out food items to no fewer than 200 groups in the state in the wake of the economic hardship facing Nigerians.

Some of the items distributed through her foundation, the Imole Osun Development and Rekindled Hope Foundaiton, include Rice, Beans, Noodles, Seasoning, among others.
Speaking at the event, Mrs Adeleke noted that the project is timely, as adherents of Islam and Christianity are undergoing the annual Ramadan and Lenten season.

The Governor’s Wife further noted the importance of reaching out to the needy at this period, due to the dwindling economic situation, stressing that the gesture will continue across the nooks and crannies of the state.

She restated the commitment of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration to bringing the much needed development to the people of Osun State, through humanist oriented policies.

Some of the groups that benefitted from the food items include FOMWAN, Widows, JONAPWD, Market men and women associations, Nulge, Women in Agric, PDP, Fatimah group, NASFAT, etc..
One of the beneficiaries of the gesture, the representative of FOMWAN thanked Chief  Mrs Titilola Adeleke for extending hands of fellowship to the needy, urging those privileged in the society to support those who require help at this perilious time.
