Osun Branch of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, NIESV Congratulates the Governor elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke who emerged winner of the just concluded gubernatorial election in the state at the weekend.

According to the speech read by the Chairman of the Osun NIESV chapter, ESV Adekunle Adedoye M.Tech, ANIVS, RSV, the Institution filled with real estate, land acquisition/valuation,  project management professionals, welcomes aboard the incoming Governor, Sen Ademola Adeleke to the seat of governance of the state.

The speech made at a Press Conference which includes all the Executive of the Osun NIESV branch, held at the km 4,  Gbongan/ Ibadan Expressway way, Osogbo, Osun state branch Secretariat, urged the People's Democratic Party incoming Governor to make judicious use of the wealth of knowledge and experience of the professional skills of the Land and property professionals.

This is as he says it looks forward to the partnership between his government, the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) and the Ministry of Lands and Physical planning, the supporting ministry of the Institution, he prayed that welfare of the lands staff be taken care of, and challenges faced be solved, so that motivation for good service delivery can be rebirthed.

Appreciating the incoming Governor Sen Ademola Adeleke ahead the selection of his cabinet, the Osun NIESV branch appealed to the governor elect to recognize and patronize the Institution and choose a registered professional Estate Surveyors and Valuers practitioner as his Commissioner and Special Adviser respectively, added that this will aide effective optimum service to the government and the people.

This is as the Institution also announced and advocated the professionals Blueprint which will be a panacea for effective land administration and boost development of the state, as well as support the government to generate Internally Generated Revenue, it pointed out that the government patronizing the professional body will go a long way in uplifting and modeling the state, they urged him to avoid patronizing quacks on issues related to their professional sector.

At the Press Conference which had the executives of the Osun NIESV branch such as, the immediate past Chairman ESV Segun Fasiku, the Secretary ESV Grace Adedayo, Treasurer ESV Kolawole Olaluwoye, Public Relations Officer ESV Mathew Kayode Ojo, Financial Secretary ESV  Olayanju Folasade, Asst Sec ESV OBF Adeagbo and the Asst PRO ESV Julius Ayoola, all Congratulated the newly elected Osun State Governor Sen Ademola Adeleke who will be sworn into office in a few months time.

They all advocated that the governments' synergy with Osun NIESV is important, that it will erase paucity of funds, improve land use charge, block wastage of public asset, bridge the gap between the government and the people as the home base professionals, maximize usage of land for the state, promotes the government as well as future Estate Surveyors and Valuers, and bring about infrastructural, economical and human capital development.

They also stated that the law which established the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON) is recognized by the federal government, and it allows the practicing valuers access to use their services according to the guidelines of the registration board, and they wished the incoming Governor Sen Ademola Adeleke of the People's Democratic Party PDP a successful tenure in office.
